Ukraine 2011 - Maksymetz Family TourMay 28 - June 12, 2011The Ukraine Maksymetz Reunion is now just a year away. The date is now set for departure on May 28th for sixteen days. The tour will include visits to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, major historic and cultural centres in the Carpathian Region, and Lviv, the major city in Western Ukraine.Of course, the highlight of the journey will be the visit to our ancestral village of Pervyatychi. There we will participate in the blessing of the new headstone for our great-grandfather, Ivan Maksymetz. In order to prepare for this journey, we require a preliminary count of interested individuals. Budgeted cost is $4,500 - 5,000. Final cost will be established once we know how many travellers will be in the group.
